I tried now to print a random html page to pdf using kprinter, eg. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/string-functions.html Before applying your advice I got again SIGSEGV. After applying your advice the pdf file was successfully created, although there were missing some fonts (ps version was just ok, pdf was unreadable). But this may be other issue :-) Thanks.
