Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rxvt-unicode
The urxvt application (provided by rxvt-unicode package) now defaults the TERM environment variable to "rxvt-256color", but there is no rxvt- 256color terminfo file provided by default. There is an xterm-256color terminfo entry, and manually setting TERM to this entry seems to work, but the defaults are incorrect. Steps to reproduce (from fresh install): 1. Install rxvt-unicode package 2. execute "urxvt" 3. In the new terminal window that opens, execute "echo $TERM". This displays "rxvt-256color". 4. Attempt to display a man page (e.g., "man urxvt"). Terminal displays "WARNING: terminal is not fully functional" Thanks!
