** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: bindwood

Since I have been accessing the internet using a proxy that requires
authentification Forefox prompts ever few minutes for a password for
"localhost:<random number>"; Reason: "Bookmarkable user auth".

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1633932 tells that this is due
- to the bindwood extension and how to repair it again.
+ to the bindwood extension and how to repair it again. And in fact After
+ typing in the right username and password the problem was gone.
+
+ Step- by- step- instructions:
+ - Open the file .local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html in your home folder.
Either graphically or open a terminal (Applications/accessoires/Terminal) and
type "gedit .local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html"
+ - Search for a line that looks like the following one (It should be near the
end of the file):
+ <a id="there" href="http://XXXXXXXXXX:YYYYYYYYYY@localhost:55849/_utils";>take
me there straight away from now on</a> (remember to bookmark this page
first!)</p>
+ - The XXXXXXXXXX now stands for the user name
+ - The YYYYYYYYYY stands for the password instead.
+
+ This still leaves open the bug, though that made the system request
+ username and password in the beginning, though.
