Same problem here:
VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G98 [GeForce 9300M GS] (rev a1)
All "yes" output from "/usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p"
"Driver Activated But Not Currently In Use"
Using "Current" driver. Also same result with older "173" driver.
No advantage in logging into "Classic" desktop. Same problem.
No advantage in fresh-installing Xubuntu 11.04. Same problem.
Although videos play, even simple games freeze and die. Otherwise the Unity
desktop is functional but appears laggy and slow.
Open source "experimental" drivers are NOT a solution. Games still won't play.
