I have two bluetooth dongles: The one that came with my Logitech MX1000 Mouse and MX5000 keyboard. It used to work fine (definitely not since Maverick, not sure how long before that). At the login screen, the mouse worked, but the keyboard didn't (both paired and trusted). Removing the dongle and replacing it didn't fix the problem, but if I held the red button in while replacing it, it works every time.
So, I bought a new bluetooth dongle, thinking it was a wierd logitech thing. With this one, neither the mouse or keyboard work at login, and I have to restart the bluetooth service to fix it. I assume these have the same root cause!
