Today I tried to install Ubuntu 11.04 amd64 on my PC(Intel Core i7 860, ASRock P55 Deluxe motherboard) and immediately after booting from the CD I get: "kernel panic - not syncing: timer doesn't work through Interrupt-remapped IO-APIC" (this is just the first line), and the installation stopped, of course.
