Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-shell

Originally, my problem was a missing symbolic link that resulted in this
error when I tried to start Gnome Shell from the terminal:

error while loading shared libraries: libmozjs.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

I fixed that by creating a new symlink to /usr/firefox/libmozjs.so

When I tried to run gnome-shell from the terminal again I got this
error:

gnome-shell: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgjs.so.0: undefined
symbol: JS_StrictPropertyStub

I reinstalled everything that had to do with gnome-shell, xulrunner, and
spidermonkey in desperation to get my DE back. I also tried re-creating
the symlink between libgjs.so and libgjs.so.0.0.0 just in case.

I'm sad.

Ubuntu 11.04
gnome-shell 3.0.0.2
