Public bug reported:

I performed an update from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.4.  Near the very end of
the update, the message "Samba4 - package may not be in a working state.
I sent the report, but during Launchpad account creation, the report was
lost.  I have used the command ubuntu-bug samba4 to regenerate and send
the report. This solution was suggested by: Curtis Hovey proposed the
