I'm running an Acer Aspire Revo 3700 with an RT3090 installed. It
appeared reliable using the RT2860STA module, however, I've had a need
to scp files (100-150MByte) between two systems & doing this has caused
the network interface to repeatedly crash with the following kernel
msgs:

rt28xx_close call RT28xxPciAsicRadioOff fail!
NICLoadFirmware: MCU is not ready
ERROR! NICLoadFirmware failed, Status[=0x00000001]
rt28xx Initialization fail!

I have installed the RT3090 packages detailed above by Arkady Smirnov &
I am no longer experiencing stalls in transfers or crashes of the
interface. An additional benefit is improved throughput.

It'd be great to see this going into the core system builds.
