I have an update to this bug: A flash video (e. g. one from Youtube) works flawlessly in fullscreen (!), but it is slow and choppy in windowed mode inside Firefox. If I try to exit the fullscreen flash video, I have a grabled, unusable display in X. If I switch to a terminal using Ctrl+Alt+F1 and immediately back everything is back to normal (thought flash is quite slow again).
