Hi, I found the same bug... the problem is related to perl Preparing to replace perl 5.10.1-17ubuntu4 (using .../perl_5.10.1-17ubuntu4.1_i386.deb) ...
the last version broke debconf package and cause segmentation fault to debconf package binaries (i tried dpkg-reconfigure, debconf) and then I misconfigured other packages. After downgrading to 5.10.1-17ubuntu4 It works well again. I upgraded to natty from maverick on i386 - pae kernel some days ago.
