Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lxterminal
I have freshly installed Lubuntu 11.04 with latest Nvidia Proprietary drivers. Whenever I open a LXTerminal it shows up correctly but with a strange black rectangle in the upper-left corner of the screen covered by the terminal window itself. This happens with Nvidia driver ONLY. Not with vesa. So I think it might be a Nvidia driver related problem but being not sure I've decided to post here first. If I did wrong I apologize but this is the only application which gives me this kind of problem. Technical details: - Lubuntu 11.04 final release with linux kernel 2.6.38-8 - Nvidia Proprietary graphic driver v. 270.41.06 (package nvidia-glx-185 270.41.06-0ubuntu1) - Asus Eee 1201N with dual-core Intel Atom 330 - Nvidia ION GPU (using default 1366x768 resolution) My OS is a fresh installation of Lubuntu. Nothing else installed. What I expected: only the terminal shows up. What happens: it brings a black glitch too!
