This is what I had in in 10.10 and it worked but same thing did not work on 11.04. See the Jarod Wilsons blog + other people reporting similar behavior

Another system I have mce receiver with Hauppauge remote that is also not working. + when I do irw and press any other remote (sony, philips, lg) and still dont see any raw codes. Since above did not work I started using devinput as I reported in my first post(taking clues from http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/LIRC note lirc is 0.8.7 in mythbuntu 11.04. should it be 0.9?
