What is the right channel to get assistance? I'm installing from http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnome3-team/gnome3/ubuntu so I assumed I was reporting the problem to the correct place. Originally I thought the problem was with the gnome3 shell and so reported a bug to the developers. They quickly determined that the issue was in fact bluetooth wasn't built / enabled in the package distribution. So I reported this bug here, and included the link to the bug I raised originally.
I apologise if I have filed the report with the wrong people, but for a user to report a bug to Ubuntu is like a black art. It has taken me 3 days find you guys! I would appreciate it if someone could please tell me how to raise a bug report for package? Regards.
