Would you kindly attach a screen cast of the bug you're facing, it will certainly be helpful for the developers to properly understand the bug. Moreover, could you kindly tell us the Ubuntu version you've currently installed. Moreover, it is by design that if another application is covering the area of the Unity Launcher, then by popping the Launcher and moving the mouse pointer away will certainly hide the Launcher. If we keep the pointer on the Launcher it certainly won't hide.
