De-duped bug #755791, as I duped it to this bug too hastily. I would hate it if *this* bug got duped to another inaccurately, and apologize for any inconvenience.
Though these two bugs (this one and #755791) have similar workarounds (the workarounds Andre posted above are indeed useful), and though they are with the same card, and have at points shared some symptoms, there is not enough shared to say they are the same bug, and there's enough different that it's likely they are not, particularly after re-checking logs between the two.
