@Rob van der Linde Uninstall pm-utils and makea notice about all the packages which will remove and reinstall it again (without pm-utils 1.4). Then you should be able to install pm-utils 1.3. For me it works on 11.04 with dell vostro 3700. ...but I can't give you a warranty.
