If so, I think that would justify an update. Slowness: yes I've experienced that too. I guess you use the embedded HSQL database? Typically when opening a table I get about 10 record per 1or 2 seconds. That is terrible! I moved my data to an external mysql database. Reported is the problem is caused by the java version and going back to an older one improves the performance. Myself prefer postgres + SDBC driver (which is broken for this version in LO and also in OO, under XP as well).
