Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
I am logged in under a KDE session. Starting thunderbird via KDE- console/shell yields the following assertion error: (thunderbird-bin:19460): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_insert_internal: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed After closing thunderbird this assertion error appears: (thunderbird-bin:19460): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed The application itself seems to run properly, although I'm not sure whether it's luck or determination. $ apt-cache policy thunderbird thunderbird: Installiert: 3.1.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1 Kandidat: 3.1.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1 Versionstabelle: *** 3.1.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-updates/main i386 Packages 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-security/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.1.9+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: thunderbird 3.1.10+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-9.43-generic 2.6.38.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-9-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: i386 Date: Sat May 14 21:36:26 2011 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=de_DE:en PATH=(custom, user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: thunderbird UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-04-12 (32 days ago) ** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty ubuntu-une -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/782779 Title: thunderbird assertion errors when started in KDE-console: (thunderbird-bin): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_insert_internal: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed (thunderbird-bin): GLib- GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
