I get the same behaviour, but I think I can add some extra details. I have several network share directories bookmarked within Nautilus, but because some apps can't see those bookmarks, I also have a directory "Network" which is a symbolic link to ~/.gvfs
I find that using libreoffice, I can "save as" to a new file name on a network share as long as I navigate through the file structure through my "Network" symbolic link. I get the error shown in the attached screen snapshot when I attempt to go via a Nautilus bookmark. I also checked another app ("gedit") to see if that failed also, but I was able to do a "save as" through Nautilus bookmark fine. ** Attachment added: "Libreoffice Authentication required" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/768915/+attachment/2130285/+files/Screenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/768915 Title: LibreOffice repeatedly asks for Samba file share credentials -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
