I get the same behaviour, but I think I can add some extra details.

I have several network share directories bookmarked within Nautilus, but
because some apps can't see those bookmarks, I also have a directory
"Network" which is a symbolic link to ~/.gvfs

I find that using libreoffice, I can "save as" to a new file name on a
network share as long as I navigate through the file structure through
my "Network" symbolic link.

I get the error shown in the attached screen snapshot when I attempt to
go via a Nautilus bookmark.

I also checked another app ("gedit") to see if that failed also, but I
was able to do a "save as" through Nautilus bookmark fine.
