What application(s) does this happen with? I tested with notepad and it
runs fine when launched from the dash. If possible, can you point to the
installer for the application so that we can easily test and confirm the
issue?
When that happens, could you please also attach to this bug report the
file ~/.xsession-errors ? Thanks!
