Binary package hint: update-manager

run update-manager, select 'upgrade' (to natty), when offered.
warning that some 3rd-party sources are being adjusted, then dialog:
"After your package information was updated the essential package 
'ubuntu-minimal' can not be found anymore. This indicates a serious error, 
please report this bug...."
