Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I visit a few sites, I open a couple of tabs, I want to quit, and I shut
the computer down. Sometimes I close each tab individually, sometimes I
close the lot in one go. Sometimes I just shut down the computer.
Doesn't seem to make a difference, next time I go online, firefox tells
me it didn't shut down properly, would I like to resume the previous
session ? I have a dual-boot system, Windows XP Pro, same thing happens
in XP or Ubuntu. rrr
