Emerald is broken.
Emerald makes Compiz pretty.
Many people seem to have fixed it by compiling from source..
However, if it really is just about rebuilding the package....
git clone git://anongit.compiz.org/fusion/decorators/emerald
cd emerald
git checkout -b compiz++ origin/compiz++
patch -p1 < ../emeraldfix.txt #set the path properly for where you put
emeraldfix.txt
./configure --prefix=/usr/local
make
sudo make install
** Changed in: emerald (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
