I am not sure if I should post a separate bug report for this (I am new at filing bug reports..I am sorry.), but I experience this same exact problem under the 64-bit edition of Ubuntu 11.04. I'd really like to use Unity to test it out, but this issue prevents full accessibility to the desktop.
