Successfully upgraded the firmware to 2.06. Still can not boot from the
drive. I need to try and move the drive back to the chipset controller
and see if at least the firmware update allows me to boot with this
drive attached to the same controller as the boot drive. I should also
try re-installing Linux yet again in case the old firmware somehow
corrupted the boot code. (that will have to wait until I have more time)
