ok i fixed it by removing that package ( took a while ) sorry for any
disturbance.

I was trying to install "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras" and
at the end there was a warning notice about some ttf microsoft font or
something and it was not responding so i closed the Terminal.. since then
whenever i try to install a package or anything from the ubuntu software center
it gives me that error
