What version of the alsa drivers are you trying to build, and for what
reason? If you need newer alsa drivers than what the 11.04 kernel
requires, then we will shortly have daily builds of the latest alsa
driver code for 11.04, as per the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules. Please
keep an eye out for these packages, which should be available very
shortly.
