Ok, so I see you have upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04. I would like to clarrify
a couple of things. In your description, you have stated that when you
installed Ubuntu 10.10, sound worked. When you re-installed, sound
didn't work. Were you re-installing Ubuntu 10.10, or were you actually
installing 11.04?
Secondly, was sound working before you upgraded to 11.04, and when you
said that sound was working on the CD, were you running a 10.10 CD?
