It happens to me too in LibreOffice writer, Eclipse and Netbeans, every time I'm selecting some text and try to drag it somewhere.
But I have a silly temporary solution. I'm opening chrome browser and select and drag some random text from a random site in the launcher. After that the launcher starts hiding correctly again.
