I had a quick look through the Ubuntu translations for zh_CN. It looks like an Ubuntu-specific change has been made so I will close the upstream report.
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/inkscape/+pots/inkscape/zh_CN/+translate?batch=10&show=all&search=_Path Google Translate tells me that "粘贴"="Paste", so from my perspective as a non-Chinese speaker, I think I can see what has happened here! @atomPM - Please could you let us know where you installed your copy of Inkscape from? Did you report this bug from a different computer? @Ubuntu Translations - Please could someone check and correct this? ** Also affects: ubuntu-translations Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: inkscape Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: ubuntu-translations Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: inkscape (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: inkscape (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: ubuntu-translations Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/787311 Title: inkscape main menu item name in Chinese translation errors.
