This bug also affects me. I'm running 64-bit 11.04, with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M. I've noticed that YouTube videos no longer run smoothly in fullscreen (I get ~2 FPS), while they run fine in windowed mode. Running glx-gears brings my computer to a standstill, and I only see the gears update every few seconds, although the program claims 8000 FPS. glx-gears does, however, give me the following error message:
Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has version 270.41.06, but this NVIDIA driver component has version 270.41.19. Please make sure that the kernel module and all NVIDIA driver components have the same version. I began with Maverick, and Flash video worked fine until the upgrade to 11.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771788 Title: nVidia driver activated and apparently being used but reported as not being used by jockey-gtk -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
