I saw this problem with 11.04. I checked the md5sum of my .iso, and sure enough, it was bad.
The right md5sum was remarkably hard to find. http://releases.ubuntu.com/11.04/MD5SUMS 7de611b50c283c1755b4007a4feb0379 ubuntu-11.04-desktop-amd64.iso I suggest putting it in small print right below the big orange "download" buttons on http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download or at least a link to something like https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/636711 Title: 10.10 can't mount squashfs file system -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
