Thanks for the report. Ubuntu 6.10 was the last officially supported PowerPC version of Ubuntu. I don't know what's up with the unofficial Ubuntu PPC builds, but Debian's works fine. If you want to grab a working package, you can take Debian's from: http://packages.debian.org/sid/powerpc/librxtx-java/download
and then do "$ dpkg -i librxtx-java_2.2pre2-8_powerpc.deb" in the directory you downloaded it to. You should be able to install arduino after doing that. ** Package changed: arduino (Ubuntu) => rxtx (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: rxtx (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/791741 Title: 'arduino' package not installable because of libtxrx-java -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
