Fabio: I understand your point... but actually, my report is about something that is not working out of the box (i.e. online conferencing on an Adobe Connect platform) while it easily could, provided that the already existing plug-in package is available in the appropriate repository, like the Adobe Flash plug-in package is.
Remember the motto?: It should just works (while still respecting users choice to not install non-free packages)! Anyway, I'll follow your suggestion and post on Ubuntu Brainstorm...
