Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center
I open Software Center from the Launcher. I put the mouse cursor on the bottom border and drag down to increase the vertical size. When I release the mouse button, the Software Center window simply disappears. This happens every time I try to start and increase the vertical size of the window. It does not happen when increasing the horizontal size of the window. output of lsb_release -rd: Description: Ubuntu 11.04 Release: 11.04 $ apt-cache policy software-center software-center: Installed: 4.0.2 Candidate: 4.0.2 Version table: *** 4.0.2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-updates/main i386 Packages 500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty-updates/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 4.0 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: software-center 4.0.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Jun 2 19:21:17 2011 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_CA:en LANG=en_CA.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: software-center UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/792150 Title: software center crashes on resize -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
