*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 765438 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/765438
I have just noticed something interesting. I unplugged the laptop and used its battery to power it on and I got an "Ubuntu" starting/welcoming screen with no backlight but all of a sudden that screen lit up just before it disappeared in order to display the desktop screen which was also lit up. I used the backlight hotkeys and I saw that the brightness bar was halfway full. So, the conclusion of this is that the power source interacts somehow with our problem. Do you think you could guess the reason of this interaction? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/773740 Title: 11.04 --DARK SCREEN--Need a lamp to see -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
