Non literal translation of the bug (as I see it): Whenever you have two nautilus windows open and drag sth from one to the other, the side bar appears (without calling or moving the mouse to the left side of the screen). If you have one window aligned to the left side of the screen, then the unity sidebar covers the places bar in the nautilus window.
