It happened on my work machine. Fortunately, I was running unity from a terminal (to workaround bug#761409), and I have the following in the terminal:
(0)pern:~/education/SisPer4% [1] - 6417 exit 139 unity --replace > /dev/null 2>&1 So I could restart unity but cutting and pasting the above in the terminal (no typing, focus was in la-la-land). Nothing in /var/crash. Maybe I should set something to have the crash available? Some ulimit? Where? The crash is not easily reproducible... ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/793101 Title: Unity crashes with X segfault in Natty -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
