Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
I deleted my ~/Documents folder. This is where gedit usually defaults to save items, right? (going on this assumption) Well, since it's not there, gedit defaults to use "Filesystem". This is not helpful at all. I believe it should default to the home directory (~/) if it cannot find the default location. If the home directory does not exist...then who is running the program!...it should then move to "Filesystem".
