Since you've already rebooted by now undoubtedly, they probably won't be there anymore. Could you try the installation again, and if it fails again, those files should be there in the running session? I suggest using the "Try Ubuntu" option at boot (instead of going straight to the installer), that way you can get to a web browser and attach those files more easily if it happens again.
