Indicators are present in the Ubuntu classic interface as well (the one that
uses GNOME Panel and stuff). The sound menu is part of that.

In fact, if I recall correctly, the Ubuntu classic interface is exactly the same
as Ubuntu Maverick's interface, and the removal of the "Quit" option was part of
the design[1] for that.

I'm closing this bug.
