Oh, while suspend and hibernate do work correctly now, I did notice a
few times when doing suspend (simply closing the lid) then opening it a
while later, the brightness of the screen was "stuck"

I couldn't find a way to brighten it by fiddling w/ screen brightness in
power settings, and mucking about w/ the proc filesystem seemed silly.

The problem went away on reboot, and does not happen that often.
