I think this error is related somehow to qtparted. The reason why I think that is this: when qtparted is started and when I click on the disk (/dev/sda), qtparted tries to read partition info (ntfs,xfs,xfs,fat32,ntfs) and then crashes. The same occurs in the installer when it tries to read partition info.
