I'm using xserver-xorg-video-intel 1.9.94, and on this flat panel wide screen LCD Ubuntu says its res is set to 1680x1050. My desktop looks right as far as icon size and everything goes except there are artifacts (skipping every 6th vertical line). When I go through my monitor's menu it reports it only running at 1400x1050. This worked in Ubuntu Edgy compiling from the modesetting branch. I hope this will be fixed soon.
