@Joshua: I have three screens on two Geforce 8800 GTX cards, and I can combine them into one by enabling Xinerama. I can drag windows between monitors, and they still maximize to one monitor (instead of stretched across all three). But I have to use the "Ubuntu Classic (No Effects)" session, none of the others work.
