Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity-2d
I used to use the 'Scale' Compiz plugin and I find that the inbuilt Spread plugin of Natty creates icons which seem to be smaller and harder to identify. Can the wasted space around the tiny window thumbnails either be reduced or made controllable, in order to create more screen real-estate for being able to identify browser windows based on their text content (which used to be possible I'm sure). A workaround may be to create a keyboard shortcut - I propose Super+Shift+W or Super+Alt+W to spread only the current window group, meaning that you only the windows from one application instead of from all applications jumbled up. This could also explain the fact that windows in Scale (which includes current window group behaviour) were legible whilst the new Spread behaviour means they are not. It's possible I'm getting too old, (I'm 36 now), and can't see as well as I did when I ran Maverick a few weeks ago.
