Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lxsession
After fresh install of Lubuntu 11.10 alpha 1 on Acer Travelmate 240, after booting, the CPU usage is 100%. The fan rotates at moderate speed, accordingly. Killing the "/usr/bin/lxsession -s Lubuntu -e LXDE" process in htop makes the CPU usage drop near zero. (However, this either kills the desktop session, or only resets the user settings -- none of which is acceptable.) This bug was hard to determine, as htop shows 0.0% CPU usage at the line of the "/usr/bin/lxsession (...)" process (!). ** Affects: lxsession (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/797094 Title: lxsession in Lubuntu uses 100% CPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxsession/+bug/797094/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
