Public bug reported: Hi all,
Running the latest nightly release of 11.10 (x64), and I've just upgraded the machine to to kernel 3.0.0. After rebooting the computer I've noticed that none of my NFS shares are being mounted. If I try and mount the shares manually from a terminal screen (after login), it returns me straight back to command prompt (without any errors/messages - like you'd see see with a successful execution) but the shares still won't mount. I've just rebooted back into kernel 2.6.39-3, and everything is working again. FWIW ... there's also a thread running on ubuntuforums.org for the same problem: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1781961 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/797141 Title: Can't mount NFS shares under kernel 3.0.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/797141/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
