** Description changed: The Fresco Logic FL1000G should support MSI but fails to enable it on load. In this way the USB Port is not usable. To fix this temporary I deactivated MSI globaly (pci=nomsi). I also tried to deactivate MSI on the single bus with "echo 0 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/$bridge/msi_bus" but this don't work. Also in newer Kernel releases this seems that isn't fixed. regards, BlueCase - lspci -v 07:00.0 USB Controller: Fresco Logic FL1000G USB 3.0 Host Controller (rev 04) (prog-if 30 [XHCI]) - Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
